  I have recently discovered how wonderful port credit is! Today we decided to try el jefe.....beautiful decor love the them....sat down and our server seemed sweet at first. Food took awhile to come out but sometimes things get backed up. Asked for something so simple like condiments; she never got it I had to get it myself.....not authentic Mexican food lacking flavour. Never once did she came back and ask how things were until I was ready for the bill. Disappointing service!

  Long wait, bad to average food at best and bad service. Our drinks were empty and weren't refilled because the waitress never checked up on us once. The restaurant was not the busy, waitress had 3 other tables at most and all the other staff was just standing around. Food wise, the starter dip was terrible, $10 for cold canned corn... The main was okay at best but we got 3 different tacos and 1 was way too spicy and one was bland, it doesn't seem like they crafted their menu or dishes well at all. I would stay away unless you're there to just get drunk maybe then their food might taste better. Honestly I would not waste your time here, if you want great Mexican food go to El Sombrero , cheaper food, much friendlier staff and honestly the best Mexican in Mississauga.

  Really great place with some amazing staff members. We went on St. Patrick's Day and arrived just before the crowds. The bar staff were having a great time which made the experience even more fun. Ordered three tacos and they were all large and delicious! Will definitely return in the summer to enjoy their sweet patio.

  Extremely unimpressed by the food and service. My mother brought me here because when she came a few weeks ago it exceeded her expectations but this time around ot was a huge let down. To start off our waitress had friends here and spent most of the time.talking with them. We had been seated way before the showed up and their order was taken first. Then when our food finally came it was just sad looking. My taco with slaw on it had a pinch of it. And my mothers taco that was supposed to have pickled onions had one single piece. We had to ask three times for napkins. All while our waitress chatted with her friends eating from their plates. My parents had recommended this place so highly but i doubt we will return.
