- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Don't go here. The location and the decor are the only good things about this place. Service was very slow considering the restaurant can't be more than 60 seats inside. Took a lot longer than usual just to get water for the table.Food was sub par at best. Salmon was not properly seasoned, ribs were trash, and the cocktails weren't good either. Our server didn't come around until we were finishing up.The bartender struck me as a new employee. She was slow and didn't seem confident. I saw servers bring drinks back and go behind bar to make drinks themselves. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This place is a just a more posh version of Montana's. Sub par food, half decent service, expensive prices. Will not be returning ever. Also, I've never reviewed a restaurant before. I felt so ripped off after leaving this place and hopefully nobody will have the experience we had.By Joseph Cannataro, June 23, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I used to say this place had the BEST grilled octopus and the BEST grilled lamb I had ever tasted and I could have put my money on it and signed on the dotted line. But...... since new management they seem to be scrubbing the old good memories away and replacing them with clueless versions of what used to be. Not even close. The octopus I ate because I was trying to be respectful. The lamb? Different cut with absolutely no taste effort. Gamey!!! I hate to say I had to send it back. Apparently they scrubbed the old chef out and replaced him with a new bar in the back and lighting. The new chef came w the deal who's trying really hard to live someone else's life. Please let him cook what he wants and maybe change the name if grill isn't his thing. I'm sad! Thanks to the old crew.By Doctor MJ, February 24, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ordered the Meat Platter and a Caesar salad starter the waiter took offense that i asked for his name even though one of his co-workers suggested who is going to serve us- i decided not take his comments personally perhaps he was being witty by saying that he does not introduce his name nor does he write his name on the table upside down...wow awesome start- the Caesar salad came in really wet and creamy no hint of garlic nor anchovies, and also the bacon under cooked- main course platter took at least 40 minutes after the Caesar salad arrived- in any other restaurant the server would normally warn us that such an item takes a bit of time- one of the other servers overheard my frustration while talking to my son about the time it's taking and decided to go to the kitchen and ask them about the hold up- the response was that the "beef ribs are taking a bit of time" in my opinion beef short ribs are cooked to a certain level in advance that made no sense to me, when the food arrived the cut potato chips were stuck together and under cooked, my substituted Australian lamb instead of the game ribs(not available this evening) were cooked differently one was rare the other one was well done, imagine just 2 simple ribs cooked at different temperatures how is that possible, the slow cooked beef ribs arrived room temperature, i'll stop there-(the server was kind enough to bring us toasted bread with the meal- normally bread is only given out with the chili- apparently they don't have a bread program) i asked for an espresso prior to leaving, it was fantastic again room temperature not warm enough they could have rinsed the cup in hot water in advance- lastly the bill arrived and i got charged for a double espresso imagine that- sorry folks the overall experience was really disappointing ( i didn't even mention how close the place was- too cold for a place that's supposed to be grilling their food). BTW- the owner kept looking our way the entire time and did NOT have the decency to come to our table and inquire as to how things are going he just kept his distance i really wonder how people get into the business with such limited customer service skills!By Alexi Balian, September 05, 2016
